In the latest bargaining sessions, healthcare talks continue with the company doubling down on another variation of their shortsighted cost shifting proposal (is it Groundhog Day?). The healthcare and benefits sub-committee continues to work on alternatives which protect our coverages while maintaining costs.
The parties also met over the COS (Global Services) agreement where the Company proposed changes to vacations, holidays, and various other articles of the collective bargaining agreement.
The bargaining team and sub-committee for Appendix F plan to meet with the company this week to continue hammering out issues for all titles covered by the appendix.
NOTICE: With so many major issues still unresolved at the table, The CWA/AT&T Midwest Bargaining Team is requesting Locals conduct a strike vote. The vote needs to be completed no later than Monday, April 6, 2015.
Local Presidents should have received the appropriate materials and direction in a correspondence from Vice-President Hinton on March 20th.
It’s time to let AT&T know that the Midwest is ready for the fight to protect what we have worked so hard for: Good jobs, Security, and Respect!
