Good news! After months of hard bargaining with a vicious employer demanding steep cuts to wages and benefits culminating in a months-long strike, these unionists finally have a contract! These brave workers went months with no income to get a contract, even as more than a dozen scabs crossed the picket-line.
Unfortunately, due to the seasonal nature of the business they have returned to work 
only to be laid off for the winter. The pancake breakfast fundraiser is still on and they can still use all the help we can give them. It will be held at the address below on December 16 at 8:00 a.m. A minimum donation $5.00 is being requested and there will be a 50/50 raffle. All proceeds to go to the strikers. Hope to see you there!
